In these places you will learn about the history and culture of Asia, especially Thailand, formerly called Siam. Here are some amazing places that I have summarized.

Chitraladarahotarn Palace

This palace is the official residence of King Bhumibol and Queen Sirikit, closed for public. Historically, this palace was the summer home of King Rama VI and place to write the literacy of wars for him.

As a place to king, this palace is really amazing. There is an artificial lake bounded by walls of Italian style. There are also many statues of ancient mythology in this area. On the inside, there Dusitalai Pavilion, where the king welcomed the Guests.

Today, this magnificent palace is also functioning as the location of the holding of agricultural projects for all farmers in Thailand. Project-based non-profit social research include rice, vegetables, fruits, milk, mushrooms, until the candle factory.

Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall

Built on the orders of King Rama V, Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall is the architecture of Neo-classical style. In the mid of construction, King Rama V died. Finally, the construction of the palace was passed by King Rama VI.

The building is famous for its huge dome surrounded by six smaller domes. In the dome, the feel of his art really fit with what Mario Tamango and Annibale Rigotti want. Under the dome, there is a throne for the King who was enthroned. Surrounding architecture reflects the Chakri Dynasty.

Suan Pakkad Palace

The palace is often called "a piece of cabbage", combining the residence of the royal family and the museum. This place reflects ancient Thailand is currently hard to find in urban areas. A tropical courtyard surrounded by different types of shade trees, tranquil pools, and eight traditional Thai houses owned by the Prince and Princess Chumbhot. Four of them are wooden houses in front of the palace courtyard, leaving the cultural heritage of the 19th century.

Wangderm Palace

Built in 1768 by King Taksin, the palace is a sign of the formation of the new capital, the Thonburi. Earlier, King Taksin was a provincial governor, and was made king when it seized from the hands of the Burmese army Ayutthaya. Therefore, because he memustuskan to move the capital from Ayutthaya to Thonburi, it is necessary to build a magnificent palace in the new location.

The palace is located in the west of the Chao Phraya river this could be used as the residence of the acquaintance and nobility when King Rama I ascended the throne, replacing King Taksin was sentenced to death. In fact, the court commonly called Thonburi Palace was also once occupied by several members of the Chakri Dynasty before it was given to the Royal Thai Navy by King Rama V.

Phyathai Palace

Phyathai palace was built by King Rama V as a royal residence. Inside consists of several halls such as the throne hall, Thewarat Sapharom hall and Devaraja Sabharamaya hall, where the king used to perform the activity at the time.

The palace was established in 1909, when the country is experiencing a transitional period between the reigning monarch to reign mayor, to parliamentary government. Therefore, in the location formerly sekiat Phyathai Palace was built like a city, where there is public housing, legislature buildings, to agricultural land.

The Grand Palace

If there is one tourist spot to visit when they go to Bangkok, it is the Grand Palace (Palace of the King) are dazzling and spectacular, no doubt that this is a place that has the best view in Bangkok City.
